Private Scuba Diving in Tamarindo, Costa Rica

We booked a discover scuba dive with salty horizon and we're beyond satisfied. Our guide Camille was super kind and overall had a great energy! She made sure that we get all the knowledge we need in the ocean before she was taking us under water. The dive spots that we were going to have been amazing and offered us the chance to see a lot of different animals. We felt very safe with her and when I had some troubles with my ears on the second dive she stayed with me the whole time and only took us down deeper once I was feeling a 100% comfortable again, which took some time. At all times I felt that she took very good care of us. The gear has also been in a perfect condition. Bonus was that she took a lot of cool videos of the marine life and us which have been included in the price. I would highly recommend diving with them!

Today my wife and I did our second ever dive. It was a quite spontaneous decision, but Camille put in the effort to make it work anyway. And we could not be more happy that we had the chance to do it with her! She and her boyfriend Julien are both very warm-hearted and friendly people that made us feel in good hands right away. The equipment was in a good shape and it felt like our safety was always the top priority! Still we were able to get some good time under water and saw some amazing wildlife! A fever of devil rays was definitely the highlight. But we also spotted many other small and larger fish (some even in larger schools), octopus, different species of moray eels and a white tipped reef shark! Another thing that I want to highlight is, that you get photos and videos of your dive included with the price. This is something we have not really seen with any other provider. Most of the time they will charge you extra or don't even take videos. We would highly recommend diving with salty horizon if you ever have the chance. It was just amazing!

We had an incredible diving experience with this dive center. From start to finish, everything was well organized and professional. A special thanks to Julien, our French-speaking instructor, who made the experience even better: knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about diving. We encountered sharks, large schools of rays, barracudas, and an amazing variety of marine life. Every moment underwater was unforgettable.

I was absolutely terrified before my first scuba dive, and I honestly wasn't sure I would even make it into the water. Camille was incredibly patient, calm, and reassuring from the very beginning. She took the time to explain everything, never rushed me, and made me feel completely safe every step of the way. Once we got underwater, all my fear disappeared. It ended up being one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and I'm so grateful I didn't give up. Camille's encouragement and confidence made all the difference. Bucear con Camille fue increíble! Desde el inicio te hace sentir súper cómoda con las instrucciones y una vez estás debajo del agua sabes que estás en las mejores manos! La visibilidad ese día estuvo increíble y logramos ver una manta raya y un tiburón! También durante las inmersiones nos tomó fotos y videos :)
